Bianca Landrau is the birth name of Bia Rapper. She is of Puerto Rican and Italian descent. At a very young age, She wanted to become a rapper but only took it seriously after surviving a nearly fatal motorcycle accident. She is also known for being on the reality television show Sisterhood of Hip Hop.
She came into the world on the 16th of August, 1990, in Boston, Massachusetts, USA. She started her journey at the age of 14. Now her age is 31, and she is known as the best rapper, and she appears on the Oxygen reality show Sisterhood of Hip Hop.
The Amazing fact about her is, till the age of 18, she didn’t tell anyone that she is writing rap songs. She was introduced to Pharrell by her manager. The rapper asked her to put lyrics to a piece of music as an audition and, after finishing the rap in under twenty minutes, they recorded it and launched her career.
Career
She was born in the decade of peace, prosperity, and the rise of technology. She started her career with the Oxygen reality TV show Sisterhood of HipHop. In 2014, she collaborated with RCA Records and signed them. After this year, she released a mixtape. In 2016, she served as the opening act for Pusha T’s Darkest Before the Dawn Tour. In 2016, she was featured on J Balvin’s song “Safari.” She also released her singles.” Whip It” and “Gucci Comin’ Home.”
In 2017, All four singles were intended to be included on Bia’s then-upcoming debut EP titled Trap Vogue, to be followed by her debut album. Bia described the project as “high energy with Latin elements mixed in, “Esta Noche” featuring Grande, which was performed during Bia’s opening set for the Dangerous Woman Tour.
In 2018, she released her debut EP Nice Girls Finish Last: Cuidado, which included the single “Hollywood.” As well, she collaborated with Uchis and Kodak Black.
In 2019, she split from RCA Records, citing the label was preventing her from releasing music, and released her first independent song, “One Minute Warning,” in August. Next, the “Best on Earth” led to an internet trend #BestOnEarthChallenge and a spike in popularity of the song. Not only that, but she also got 46 numbers on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming Bia’s highest-peaking song on the chart, and was certified Platinum by the RIAA for selling over one million units in the United States.
In early 2020, she released two singles, “Free BIA (1st Day Out)” and “Cover Girl.” Then she released the single “Same Hands,” featuring American rapper Lil Durk. Another single, “Skate,” was released in November 2020, alongside a music video.
